The QuantumTX 2022 National Multisector Technology Accelerator was launched today. QuantumTX is the leading business incubator for connecting Australian Technology Scale-Ups and SMEs into large companies, site trials, and a range of multi-national companies and speakers.
Participants receive world-class mentoring, skills development, corporate introductions plus introductions to potential investors. Confirmed speakers include South32, Roy Hill, Imvelo, Fugro Marine, Woodside Energy, QMetco, Robotics Australia Group, InmarSAT, Austmine, Bowen Rail, Austrade, NOVA Systems, The Australian Space Agency, Telstra, AROSE and METS Ignited.
Ten sponsored places for Australian innovators have been funded by industry leaders METS Ignited, Fugro, AROSE (Australia Remote Operations for Space & Earth) and Atomic Sky.

A key focus is facilitated pathways to projects leveraging automation, remote operations, digital technologies, and satellite systems. “QuantumTX empowers pathways for startup tech companies to engage with us, build capabilities and develop future skills around remote operations for all industries,” said Leanne Cunnold, CEO, AROSE (Australian Remote Operations for Space & Earth).
The program has proven extremely successful in helping scale significant businesses. “Over the 6-month QuantumTX program, our leadership team were exposed to industry mentoring, product diversification, the space sector and industry Primes. Following the program, we won a large contract to build a VR eLearning suite as well as digital twins for large scale plants,”said Doug Bester, MD/ Founder of Sentient Technologies.
