Project description and overview

Mackay-based METS companies Active Adrenalin and Nutricula Psychology formed the Holistic Safety Project to create a Resilience and Psychological Safety Assessment tool. Traditional measures of health and safety are predominately reactive. These lag indicators record undesirable outcomes or consequences, such as absenteeism, safety incidents and Workcover claims.

The Resilience and Psychological Safety Assessment tool (RAPSA55) examines the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of employees. The tool provides a ‘snapshot’ of the health and wellness of a workforce at a team and organisational level, which is reflected as a ‘predictive’ indicator of safety performance.
