Re-commercialisation opportunities of closed mine sites discovery workshop

The purpose of this workshop is to explore opportunities for re-commercialisation of closed mine sites, especially with tailings dams and mine affected water. This will be a multi-stakeholder workshop leveraging on the capability of the vibrant Queensland ecosystem.

There will be representatives from the state and regional government, technology companies, clean technology companies, subject matter expertise, exploration, and mine operators. This will be the first discovery workshop, which will lead to more in-depth workshops on identified opportunities and potential scoping and feasibility studies.

Hosted by Andrew Scott – METS Ignited National Cluster Development Manager. Special guests include Oskar Kadletz and team, from the Queensland State Government.
