METS Ignited are delighted to announce that today saw the first of two new micro-accelerators in their Accelerator Program. Today’s micro-accelerator, Business Model Evaluation and Improvement, was presented by Queensland University of Technology’s Centre for METS Business Innovation (CMBI) and The University of Queensland. It provided attendees with the opportunity to benchmark their business model against successful METS innovators to see where they currently are and assisted them in designing improvements.

The global mining environment is highly dynamic. METS firms need to create novel business models that unlock economic value from new technologies; support more resilient competitive advantages and improve readiness for change across the sector. This micro-accelerator was designed to support companies to do that.

Some great feedback was received – “Comprehensive presentation by very qualified speakers. Friendly staff/organisers. Engaging. Well paced
