METS Ignited is pleased to share the national launch of a regional hydrogen technology cluster network. Established under the National Hydrogen Strategy and in line with the National Manufacturing Priorities, the cluster program will build the skills and commercial opportunities for clean energy technology providers.
The Australian resources industry and METS sector stand to benefit from an increased demand for hydrogen, providing access to a lower cost fuel source, amounting to longer operating times and cheaper energy. With linkages to the already established resources industry cluster network, Australia’s technology innovators will have greater capacity to access global technology supply chains and increased domestic demand. METS Ignited is proud to support this important program which will be coordinated by fellow Industry Growth Centre NERA.
