During the past seven weeks, METS Ignited and the Export Council of Australia have delivered their first Export Readiness masterclass.
In the first five weeks of the Masterclass, participants gained knowledge and skills related to exporting from Part 1 “Export Fundamentals”.
Afterwards, as part of Part 2 “Market Insights”, international experts discussed key opportunities and challenges on three key export markets for METS companies.
Markets included:
- Chile & Peru: experts from Guerrero Olivos and Linkminers respectively
- India: joined by representatives from Newland Global Group and VLI Australia
- Southern Africa & Ghana: DFAT provided an overview of a number of southern African markets, and Mining One Consultants shared their experience in setting up a presence in Ghana.
