We are pleased to announce that applications can now be lodged for the Federal Government’s Modern Manufacturing Initiative (MMI) Collaboration Steam, expanding the opportunity for further industry collaboration.

Co-funding is available for projects between $20 million and $200 million that will enhance Australia’s international competitiveness through large-scale commercialisation projects.

Business-to-business and business-to-research projects that strengthen competitiveness and generate jobs in the National Manufacturing Priority areas of Resources Technology & Critical Minerals Processing, Recycling & Clean Energy, Defence, Space and Medical Products as well as Food & Beverage and are urged to apply.

Transformational projects that directly feature collaboration or will create and facilitate collaborative ecosystems are the focus of the Collaboration Stream and is the largest component of the $1.3 billion Modern Manufacturing Initiative.

As the Industry Growth Centre for the Mining Equipment, Technology and Services sector, METS Ignited has demonstrated the importance of partnering as a key driver of commercialising innovation.
